1. What the demonstration is
The AegisOne demonstration provides access to an evaluation environment pre-loaded with a fictional managed estate, so you can exercise the product without connecting it to anything you rely on.
Access runs for 14 days from activation. No credit card is required, and the demonstration does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. If you want to continue past the term, contact us and we will arrange it deliberately.
The demonstration is provided free of charge and "as is". It carries no availability commitment, no support commitment and no service level. We may modify, suspend or withdraw it at any time.
2. Isolation from production
The demonstration runs on infrastructure separated from production customer environments, with its own datastore. It has no connection to any customer production system, and no route into one.
The estate you see is fabricated sample data. Devices, clients, tickets, contracts and findings in the demonstration describe nothing real, and no figure shown in it should be read as a statistic about AegisOne, its customers or its performance.
You must not connect the demonstration to production systems, enrol production endpoints into it, or load real customer, employee or personal data into it. If you want to evaluate against your own estate, ask us for a proof of concept — that is a different arrangement with different terms.
3. Prohibited use
The Acceptable Use Policy applies in full to the demonstration. In particular, you must not use it to:
- Scan, probe or test the security of any network, system or service, including ours and any third party’s.
- Attempt to reach, enumerate or interfere with any environment other than the one issued to you, or to cross the boundary between the demonstration and any other system.
- Mine cryptocurrency or otherwise consume compute, storage or bandwidth for purposes unrelated to evaluating the product.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or phishing content from or through the environment.
- Harvest, extract or attempt to misuse credentials, including sample credentials held in the vault.
- Upload, stage or execute malware, ransomware or any code intended to damage or covertly control a system.
- Execute destructive commands, including mass deletion, encryption, disabling of security controls or attempts to render systems unusable.
- Abuse platform resources, including load testing, stress testing, sustained automated request volume, or any activity that degrades the environment for other evaluators.
- Reverse engineer the platform or agent, or use the demonstration to build or benchmark a competing product.
We monitor demonstration environments for these activities and may suspend access immediately, without notice, where we detect them.
4. Data and deletion
Anything you create in the demonstration — configurations, tickets, notes, uploaded files — is part of the demonstration environment and is not preserved.
At the end of the 14-day term the environment and its data are deleted. There is no export, no archive and no restoration after expiry. Take any notes you need before the term ends.
We retain the registration details you provided in order to contact you, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Those are held separately from the environment and survive its deletion.
5. Confidentiality and feedback
The demonstration may expose unreleased functionality. Treat what you see as confidential and do not publish screenshots, benchmarks or descriptions of unreleased features without our written consent.
Feedback you give us about the demonstration may be used without restriction or obligation.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the demonstration is excluded. The environment is provided without warranty of any kind, and you must not rely on it for any operational purpose.
7. Termination
We may terminate demonstration access at any time, with or without cause, and immediately on any breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination the environment and its data are deleted.
