Our accessibility commitment for this website, the standard we build to, known limitations, and how to report a barrier.

This document is a template. It has been drafted for review and has not been approved by qualified legal counsel. It does not yet form a binding agreement, and it must be reviewed and adapted by a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction before any commercial reliance is placed on it.

1. Our commitment

We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, speech input or reduced-motion settings.

Accessibility is treated as a build requirement rather than a remediation exercise, and issues are logged and prioritised alongside other defects.

2. Standard

This website is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

We describe our position as "partially conformant": the site is built to the standard, but it has not been assessed by an independent accessibility auditor and we do not claim a verified conformance result. We would rather state that than publish a conformance badge we cannot substantiate.

3. Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading hierarchy.
  • A skip-to-content link, and visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Full keyboard operability, including navigation menus and forms.
  • Form controls with programmatically associated labels, and errors presented in an accessible summary as well as at the field.
  • Text and interface colour combinations chosen to meet the contrast thresholds the standard requires.
  • Support for the reduced-motion preference; no content that flashes.
  • Layouts that reflow to narrow viewports and to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality.

4. Known limitations

We are aware of the following, and are working on them:

  • Some complex data visualisations do not yet have a fully equivalent text alternative.
  • Content embedded from third parties may not meet the same standard, and we do not control its markup.
  • The operator console is assessed separately from this website; its conformance position is not covered by this statement.

5. Feedback

If you encounter a barrier on this site, tell us at accessibility@aegisone.lynxclub.ph. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within [acknowledgement period] business days and will tell you what we intend to do and when.

This statement is based on our own evaluation, combining automated testing with manual keyboard and screen reader review. It was last reviewed on the revision date shown above.
